GWEN MITNICK, IIDA,CID  has been designing and creating corporate and healthcare interiors since 1986.  Her firm offers commercial, healthcare and residential interior design  and space planning services.  Gwen has a  solid background in the extremely technical aspects of healthcare interiors and has been the designer of choice by Ventura County Medical Center since 1990 because of her ability to bring a polished, “high-end hotel look” to interiors with low or moderate budgets.   Her creative talents have been used in numerous outpatient clinics, acute-care facilities, restaurants, cafeterias, wagering-facililties, psychiatric centers, convalescent care facilities, credit unions, corporate headquarters, private medical and dental offices and private residences.  Gwen’s current projects include 3 large outpatient clinics, a dental office and a private medical office/spa.

Gwen studied at UCLA and UCSB, graduating from the Environmental and Interior Design program at UC Santa Barbara.  She is a Certified Interior Designer (CID) by the State of California #2456 .  She is a currently a professional member of the  International Interior Design Association (IIDA) and a past member of  ASID.  She has been a guest speaker at Ventura Community College in construction/design classes.  Gwen is currently working on the IIDA Santa Barbara City Center.

Angela Schamp
After studying Interior Design at the University of Arkansas, Angela worked as a junior designer at Northwest Arkansas’ premier design firm, with such varied projects as corporate offices, banks, educational facilities, and restaurants.   After relocating to Southern California, Angela has been the lead designer/project manager on a wide spectrum of commercial projects.  Her projects have included:  The United States Navy, Child Development Resources, Community Memorial Hospital, AGIA Insurance Services, and Tolman & Wiker Insurance.

Tina Reyes
Tina completed the Interior Design program at Ventura Community College and has worked as a staff designer at Phase 2 Interiors on healthcare projects for over a year.   She has also worked in the furniture and product design area.  She is currently working on the IIDA Santa Barbara City Center and is the representative for Student Affairs.
